Update for what it is worth..
Riding home the day of my last post that day the bike stared to smoke like crazy and there was oil all over the place. This weekend I pulled the head off and replaced the valve seals and re-sealed the clutch cover. I did a 5 mile test run and all seemed good. That is until I stopped. I now have a very small drip off my left side muffler. Sigh. I have no idea where it is coming from. Time to crawl under the bike and chase another issue down.
