I was looking at the link. Very nice web. I have the first version of the oil bath. This is unfortunately no output. I remove the oil pressure sensor and replace it with a hose connector. I do not use the pressure sensor anyway. Or I use the plug next to the oil filter that goes backwards. I'll see what's best for the exhaust.

Sorry, I meant to check one of my motors to see where a good place might be to tap into the main gallery, but I ran out of time. I'm at work now.

The pressure switch tap might work for a parallel-flow to the cooler, but it might be too small to run 100% flow. I'm not that well versed on oil coolers, but that pressure switch tap seems kinda small. If you run the cooler as a parallel-flow you might want to put a restrictor in the pan.

DO NOT use the oil sensor port to feed the cooler and engine.
Look at the engine oil flow chart in coreys post , the switch is before the filter so It is unfiltered oil!!

The cooler needs to be in between the oil pan passage and the main passage (4-5)

what you would need to do if you don't want to buy the oil cooler pan or drill and tap holes to fit oil lines.
Connect oil cooler feed line to rear 3/8bspt plug hole
Connect oil line from cooler to main oil passage below ignition cover. I am pretty sure its a metric thread.
Plug old oil passage in pan otherwise oil will bypass cooler

IF i couldn't get hold of a oil cooler pan then i would look at copying the factory pan and drill and tap the front of the pan for the new lines

I'm not 100% but just a thought - will you need a different/higher pressure oil pump? The only reason I ask is that I know that the GPZ750 has a different oil pump to the KZ750, and the only difference I could reason is that the oil cooler might effect oil pressure.

All 550's with or without the oil cooler used the same pump

Fun fact...all the gpz/kz550, kz650, kz700, gpz/kz750, zephyr 550/750, zx600a-c ninja and many more all used the exact same oil pump.
Part # 16082-064

The zr-7 was the one that got the higher volume oil pump.

Thanks for the super layouts of Master Wozza!
I will try to connect to 3/8 and the ignition plug has M18x1.5.
I have a M12x1 connection on the radiator. The inside diameter of the hose is 8mm. I can put a small pressure gauge in the circuit for inspection.

And if I buy parts from Ebay, the postage price doubles the price of the part. It is better for me to make or remake things.
Thanks to all for your help.

It's nice you want to show me how stupid I am.
1. I do not register on Ebay.
2. Shipping exceeds the price of parts (I already wrote)
3. The seller must be willing to send to my country.
4. I do not have Paypal :-)
5. I have to bother friends to mediate it.
6. I like to do things myself! Everyone can buy it!

I've already bought a few parts on an ad with photos.
And then I joyfully threw them into scrap.
