The one I suspect to have the gear dog issues has 33K miles on it. It simply won't stay in gear for long at all. It makes me wonder if there are aftermarket gears. I love, love LOVE riding this bike, but if I'm going to crack the engine cases and blow the tranny apart, why would I want to put the same set of gears in it that appears to be a weak point in the bike?
