Ya if I was running the third pully set what you are saying is a must.

I was thinking of adding a filter and a valve. How long does that little tank's fluid last because I though of adding a secondary reservoir too.

;) the system has to have a jet system and anti siphon valves or it's like opening a dam  ....... how long will the supply last ? it depends on your H2o jetting and how long your boost times are...... :S

R.C. engineering, Blake ,RB racing, ATP, Mr.turbo all sold H2O injection for their turbo kits . they were all boost pressure powered with check valves and jets...... most used a small aluminum reservoir that fit in front of the m/c license plate.
On my MK II custom set up I use a one quart reservoir .....at this time my H2O injection starts working at 8 p.s.i. .... :side: the indicator light on the dash lets me know if its working or not.....I can adjust the low (on) and high (off) p.s.i.sequence and I also have a bypass so I can squirt at will if needed ....... errrr ,sounds dirty , lol B)

That sounds bad ass cept the wiring to make it all work..lol.

Hey Zed do you remember what boost pulliesI have I have the 3 sets running the middle set..

Yes! the cast item is the Drouin made tank, there should be an inline spring loaded one way valve either side of the tank - one on the pressure line from the plenum and another in the fluid line to the nozzle.
I have never had a Drouin injection set up so I don't know what the valves he used look like so maybe someone has messed about with your and fitted different fittings.
As for the pulleys, running anything other than the std z900 pistons makes the std Drouin pulley ratio to boost pressure comparison useless.
With the std 900 pistons and std 9-1, ish comp the first set of pulleys would give around 6 to 8 psi but with my 8-1 comp, 1075cc set up they gave no boost but just took the load off the engine.
I have had to fit the second set which spins the blower faster to fill the extra capacity and get + boost.
You will have to run the bike and see what boost you get with your engine spec and go from there.

Can you find me a picture of this valve. It wasn't hooked up that's for sure, I will have to see if its in my parts bin.

My pistons are 8.7 iirc and I'm 1075. Ok I thought the second set was 15 psi. The third set was high that's for sure (25psi?) but I forget what they are. Your info is good for me to know. I haven't tackled the harness simplification, when I do that I will hook up the boost gauge.

Those pulleys were listed as 8 to 10 - 10 to 18 and 18 to 22 psi but in actual use never gave that much boost.
With the first set you were lucky to get 6psi .
All this was based on just bolting the kit to a std z900 engine so with anything bigger you will have even less boost so you will need to experiment with the bigger sets.
As for the one way valves, I only have the Drouin sales leaflet which doesn't have any pics of the valves but they should be attached to the actual cast tank as far as I can tell.

Thanks man! Ok I will take a look when I take that area apart again. At what point would I have to go 50/50 or full race gas do you figure?

P.S. I thought it was 1045 then I found out later it was 1075.
