I would also check the valve clearances if you haven't.

Do you know what?
You are ALL right.
BUT.
All that matters is are you within 10% of what the book says?
ALOT of people who went to school ALOT longer then me came up with that #

Then run a leakdown test, still within 10% cyl.to cyl?
You will be good to go for a while.
