if your airbox is still intact - ive got a like new K/N drop in filter.. p.m. me and ill give/ send it to ya, only if you live in usa..i dont want to eat too much postage...know what? i got a small baggie with a bunch of jets you can have also, but they are for the VM series, not BS...will they work??

Wait! Don't pre-jet. Sometimes a pipe change will give you a nice little performance boost right across the entire throttle range. If so, this means you were a little on the rich side to begin with...
If the bike pulls a little harder at wot, then at 1/2 throttle, then when pulling away from a light/stop, you're fine!
If you get a bit of popping on decel, its still ok if its not too loud or annoying. You can clean that up with a pilot screw adjustment.
If the pilot screw is closer to the intake side of the carb, its an air screw. Turn it in 1/4 to remove some air from the pilot mixture.
If the screw is on the engine side, its a mixture screw. Turn it out 1/4 to add pilot mixture.
