Since we're on the subject. I have the Macs as well, but some friends of mine were suggesting going to get some custom bent header pipes if necessary. The thought a non chain muffler place might be able to handle those bends. Anyone tried this and how much did it hurt the wallet?

g,day six gun is the avitar your b3 if so mate is that the original colour , my b4 is red but shows signs of a purple /blue under the tank , i,m running dunstalls 2 into 2 like the look and the note

I think you are asking about mandrel bending: bending the pipe so that there is no crimp in it, just a smooth radius.

Some shops can do it, but the equipment is expensive, so it may be "expensive" for you. you can buy madrel bent pieces and weld them together, but the look isn't there on a bike without a full fairing.

I bet if you googled "madrel bending" or some such phrase, you would learn lots more than I can tell ya here.
