KZ parts interchange question
23 Apr 2018 05:35
No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationDoes anyone know if rear blinkers are interchangeable between 76-78 KZs? I have a KZ750 twin and the rear blinker stem and light assembly broke. Curious to know if KZ900, KZ1000, KZ650 stems and assemblies will fit. I do NOT want to buy new from Z1 as there are a lot of used stems on Ebay like these:
1977 Kawasaki KZ650B
1977 Kawasaki KZ750 Twin
1977 Kawasaki KZ750 Twin

If you look up the part on Partzilla (or similar OEM parts fishe), find the turn signals for your bike and click on the application data, it will show you what other bikes used that same part number. In the case of the rear turn signals a LOT of different KZ's used those parts. Knowing this you can then hunt for signals on ebay expanding the widest possible net.
Good luck

Z1Enterprises has 2 different styles of KZ turn signal stems & they are interchangeable.
The turn signals & headlights seem to be almost universal fit for most KZs. For the headlight >>> KZ550 & larger models.
Some of the small KZs have a smaller headlight, but their turn signals are the same as the larger models.
Additionally, you might be able to use Honda CB turn signal brackets. I've seen it done at the front when guys move the turn signals from the handlebars.
