scored a shop manual on fleabay

Just wanted to brag. Was only bidder on a clean shop manual for my '83 Spectre KZ750, which arrived today. Got it for $13. plus $8. shipping.

"Investment" is the right term here. Always spring for a shop manual for any old bike I get. I'm just glad there always seem to be a few still floating around.

$21T is a really good price. The 750 Shaft manual is usually readily available & at reasonable cost. every time I've looked there has always been at least one on eebbaayy for around $20T shipped. If you look in the completed listings, there was one back in September that sold for about $9T. I've never seen a manual that cheap before. hee. It was in great condition & covered the shaft drive models thru 1987 to boot.

Curious little note here. While shopping, saw one for $40. or so that said it was only 15 miles from my zip code, so I sent a question to the seller: "Hey, can I just run over and look at it first and then just buy it there?". Later, after I bought this one, got a nasty message from fleabay threatening to cut me off but since maybe i didn't know what I was doing, they will let me off this time. My attitude to that is simply FU in a big way A-holes!.

eBay and PayPal drive me bat crap crazy. But...sometimes eBay is the only solution making it a necessary evil. Well done on the service manual.

Live in a small town (1,000 people) and found the correct shop manual for mine for 5 bucks at a garage sale years ago. Was like a kid at Christmas......... The owner moved here and passed away so the wife sold it. (Bike was gone along with any parts). Had a Clymer since the beginning (1980) and still always go by both. Sometimes I like the way the Clymer spells it out and other times the Kaw bible and have yet to find any incorrect or conflicting info between them I hear about.

Have to ask, would someone like to share the Spectre KZ750 shop manual with other members or for board data base?

You would need to essentially destroy one by sawing off the spine so that the pages could be scanned one at a time.
I'm not willing to do that to mine.
Don't know if any were made with a hole punch and spiral binder but that at least would mean you don't have to wreck one.

I believe if you enter "Kawasaki Spectre KZ750 service manual" in the Google search you will find there are electronic copies available online. Ed

Sorry Ed, i found everything (fake sites only) but no Spectre KZ750 service manual PDF for free download.
