I still have a big soft spot for two strokes. I still have my KH400 that I started road racing on, my H2 cafe racer that was my street bike back in the 70's, and of course my RG500 Gamma.
Nothing reminds me of racing more than the smell of a two stroke running Castrol R30, and UniCal race gas being warmed up in the cool morning air!!!!

Sometimes, I will start my H1 up just to fill the garage with that 2-stroke smoke.

I still have a 1974 H2 I've had for 37yrs. They are a neat bike, but a KZ is a lot better for the street without a doubt. I've put 1000 miles on it in the 37yrs I've owned it.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

I haven't talked about it (on here yet) but I just picked up a '74 H1E from a friend a month ago who bought it from the original owner a couple years ago. Engine seems to have good compression although I haven't had a gauge on it. It needs quite a bit of work to get it running and roadworthy again but I'm hoping to get around to it the winter of '17/'18. It has 9,157 miles on it and must have some port work as the original owner had H2 carbs set up on it? From the license plate, the bike hasn't be on the street in over 20 years.

Very nice. Z1parts and Z1E have the decals for it if you want to make it look stock.

Thanks Steve.
The pics make it out to look better than how it really is. I need to replace all the hoses (fuel, oil, and vacuum) and all the cables before even thinking about trying to start it. :pinch: But I'm sure it'll all be worth it when I'm done.

My buddy who has a small stable of H2s sent me this.
Trying to imagine how you could take the output from 2 crankshafts mounted front to back and apply that to one rear axle. Failing.
EDIT: My buddy doesn't own the double engined errr,,, creation, he just sent me the link.
