WOW... looks like even the H2 can see more than 270mph, on a straight road!

Count your blessings. Over here in Denmark the suggested price for the H2 (not the R) is $70,860 - and that's US dollars.

That's more than 20 months of wages for me, provided I don't pay tax, rent and bills or eat, drink and smoke...
I don't have a price qoute on the H2R, but oddly enough it will likely be a lot cheaper since there's no registration tax on vehicles that are track only. Still can't afford any of them though, even if I wanted to.

I think the H2 designation stands for: - H for high possibility of the following consequences designated by the 2. The 2 choices, Death or Losing your License that will most likely follow. If you drive like the guy dicing with the Hayabusa through slower moving car traffic the second choice is virtually inevitable, just a matter of time until someone takes you out.
I'm a big proponent of it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast, than a fast bike slow, while I admire the technology of the H2, I do not imagine it being a fun road bike because you'd have to keep constantly slowing down because you'd be findng yourself doing a 100 mph in a 30mph zone just short shifting through the gears. It does have an infectious howl to the exhaust note, almost as good as a KZ1000
Hats off to the guy racing the Mclaren, that's incredible bike control to accelerate that fast and hard.

Like with the original H2 (750), which was a scarey ride when doing speed, I suspect this H2 will also claim quite a few lives. Yea, there will be "kids" who want this for their HS Grad present. Thinning the herd, as it is... I'll stick to my KZ's!

I'm pretty sure its KPH not MPH in that video. I don't need one honestly, its a track bike and should be kept there.

my buddies ZX10 does 70 MPH in first with 5 more gears to go. As awesome as the H2 is, I could not justify buying one. Would I take one if it was given to me? You get your ass I would.

I'd have my daughter get a life insurance policy on me just in case.

If you just want to scare yourself, most of the older Kawasaki's will do that if you push them hard enough and for a lot less money

You'll know when the H2's start crashing when you see the used parts on eBay.

The Zephyr does 205 KPH/128 MPH down a hill
and handles ok - well no speed wobbles cornering anyway ,which is fast enough for what it is. In comparison to a modern sports bike it feels like a moped/scooter. If i had a spare $33,000 spare for a H2 i would definitely buy one - no point in the H2R for $60,000 for me - my body is too old and farked to race. Only place i could do that is in a dream at the IOMTT.
It would be part of a collection anyway if i were that well off
You are right - it would be impossible just to cruise about on and a lot of people are gonna get into trouble with one. That rider in Turkey wont be with us for long i reckon unless it is someone like Kenan Sofuoglu ,but even then
