Ok...I have read my service manual cover to cover, and it does not tell me.... Or I passed over it. The oil seal that is on the shift shaft needs to be replaced as that is where my leak is coming from . I need to take the sprocket off to change this correct? My service manual does not talk about changing this out.

You take off the sprocket, then the cover. The seals go in/out from the inside.

Shift shaft should have 3 of the same seal. IIRC, one in the case and 2 in the cover....or something like that.

You may want to try resizing the pictures to a smaller size. I've had to do that to get mine to post. I use MSPAINT to resize them. I found it is pretty easy to do (once I figured it out). Ed

Try keeping pic size within the following limits:
Width: 2400px
Height: 1200px
Size: 2048kb (2 MB)
