Thanks to Billy Ray for letting me feature his 77 Kaw Hot Rod here on KZR as our May Bike of the Month !!!!
Now for June Im backing up one year to 1976
And here we have a real nice 1976 Kawasaki KZ 900 A4
Brought to us by member 9errider
AKA Clyde DeCrow of Colorado
Clyde did a restoration on his bike 3 years ago and it looks real sweet.
Not quite stock , but a real nice rider.
1075 cc pipe , backcut trans , welded crank.
And more of the usual things done to perk up our Big Z motors.
Painted by Marble motors to freshen up the look too.
Nice Job Clyde , And thanks for letting me share your fine ride with the membership here at KZR !!!!!!!!!!!!
Lets show Clyde we like his bike !!!

Very nice bike, I like it, I'm sure it rides and sounds as good as she looks.
I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

Congrats!! Clyde. Looks great! up close! I bought the same bike in 1977. Stripped perfect paint off in 1978! Got a pile of parts and bikes in 1991. I gave a set of Lesters away at the time, cause I did not like them (LOL)
Great look with the classic Kerker. I paid $149 for my 1st chrome Kerker in 1977 from a Kawasaki Dealer. Then he sold me jets and a ABE breadbox air cleaner too!

I paid mine off in 2 months and started customizing with what there was available back then. The guy that first drug it out of the crate from the factory, did what ever he could trying to get me to keep it stock but I won with the kerker and lesters and pods. I used the Drag Specialties catalog like todays wish list. Stan Turloc still has a small shop in Glenwood Springs to keep touring riders going. Its just finding him. lol !
I really don't wish for very much youth because I might not make it the second time around, just enough as when I made the most money.
