The Antique Motorcycle Foundation needs your input
15 Feb 2015 09:07
This was posted up at the GS Resources, thought some might might be interested. Here the OP:
Greetings all-
I'm reaching out to all my friends on the GSR for a bit of input. But before I do, let me provide a bit of history. Firstly, I owe a huge debt to the GSR. Because of it, I have lifelong riding friends and I would not be president of the Antique Motorcycle Foundation had I not stumbled onto the GSR back in 2002 looking for the cure to the infamous GS stator problem. Since then, I've organized a few or been on dozens of GSR rallies and carved up countless twisties on my Suzukis with great people like you. My journey into the vintage world started here more than 12 years ago. This is where I thank Frank and the others who keep this site going. I've successfully rebuilt carbs over and over because of these resources!
Now, let me say something about the Antique Motorcycle Foundation. We are a non-profit charitable foundation that in summary, is trying to promote the world of antique and vintage motorcycling. We think we can better serve this world if we know more about the people who drive its success. We've put together a short, 11-question survey in attempt to get to the bottom of this. Can you spare just a couple of minutes and answer the questions? True to its mission, the AMF will share its analysis with the public on our web site.
The survey can be found at: www.surveymonkey.com/s/9F9L5R3
Cheers and keep the shiny side up!
Jon
