Just think, I use to ride like that through Malibu Canyon going to the Rock Store in the 70"s on my Z1. RD's used to be like bees going through the turns but when the road opened up it was Bye Bye. Maybe I'm old or a little wise-er, I wouldn't try that now.
Great Vid's let's keep it up.
Thanks

Back then we had the Bell Star helmet. Like wearing a anvil on your head. If you went down chances were you would hit your head. A lot of people got broken necks that way. I didn't like them, then the wreck in 86. Landed on my face in the desert. That's why I'm so pretty. :woohoo: I wear one now and they're much better.

Steve, sorry to read your "good" riding season is complicated by snowbirds. Here in the Upper Midwest, I would love to get out for a ride but there is about 2 feet of the white stuff with frozen slick roads. :pinch:
Lots of great ideas on video. Like that little Polaroid Cube and would like the Aerostich or Go Pro products one day. I have seen helmet mounted and chest strapped videos. They do not have the vibration or excess movement of the bike mounted units so video quality is better for sure.

As for the Aerostitch camera it is actually made by Drift Innovation. I have the Ghost 1080, shoots 1080p, the lens rotates so you can get pretty much any angle you want (I think 310 deg or rotation) and the lens is made of gorilla glass. Very solid camera although it is a bit on the heavier side, I only noticed its weight when cannonballing from Arkansas to Minnesota in one day.
Keep it rubber side down everyone

the drift was my least fave. it would lock up constantly and was very fiddly. the simplicity of the Contour Roam is such a winner. They all are very close in film quality, though
a sample of the drift quality.

I call them slow birds. They come here for the winter weather. Not too bad a price to pay having riding weather while you guy have to wait it out.

Well, my cam is in San Francisco. I may have it early next week. Been trying to open Zeph's video but need Quick time to do it. Will I have to buy a APP to post mine?

You should be able to get a good free player Steve.
Nice shots on the RC51 timmy - dont like the distortion behind the screen though.

Steve - i am grateful my hearing is still fantastic and i cant hear any wind noise on my cam unless it is really blowing a strong gale - if you were to try it without the water resist jacket it would be very noisy i am sure.
