Just picked up a KZ400 for $0.99

No joke. It was 99 cents. It was on ebay without a reserve and no one bid against me. I brought it home yesterday. Its bone stock, and everything is there, in a small box of parts. pretty stoked.

Sorry for the blurry pics i think i was a bit excited when i was taking these.

That's an amazing score! Heck, the gas cap is worth far more than 99 cents!  Ed

That's what eBay does to you. "Try starting at $.99 to get people bidding. They don't tell you to have a reserve. The seller could have backed out though. Not with out penalty. Good score, too bad for the PO.

I don't like to take advantage of others misfortune. I hope he gave the guy a tip. It's missing the carbs. I wonder, did they come with it? Maybe that's why it was sold.

Sweet a 400 deluxe ! Those are really neat and kind of rare. About 5 years ago a got set of fiberglass luggage bags for one of those at a garage sale that I sold on E-bay for $300.... so I'm pretty sure you did just fine....

Nice bike to ride to work, dive them all week on 2 gallons of gas too!
If I knew what I was doing all the time life wouldn't be any fun.

rack is correct. seat is not.
They are kinda rare, but i wouldn't say they are valuable. people don't really seem to be interested in these 400's. i cant believe how much cheaper the parts on ebay are for this thing compared to the kz650 or 1000.

Personally I am not a fan of the grandpa-bike look, so I'm going to remove the fairing, bags, crash bar, and rack, and swap for the correct seat. They are all in poor shape, but i will hang them in the rafters of my garage next to the Windjammer fairings i will never be able to sell, and cant throw away.
