The only baffle, was a cone with no tube attached for packing. I love the sound of no baffle... I am fortunate that I live in an area where I can get away from traffic ... and of course haul full throttle thru the gears! While being mindful of obeying all laws and regulations !

I have the same pipe on mine. mine has a 2 inch baffle with fresh packing. to me it sounds just about right. at idle its not to loud but when you roll the throttle that kerker will HOWL.also the jetting could be off when you go from a non baffle to baffled?its your bike keep it however you like it.

I use my pipe like a horn, If I see a prob ahead or around me I goose the throttle and they hear me and I get there attention.

Ive only heard of 1 person being hit by a train while on a bike, he was on the tracks tuning on the carbs of a dirt bike and didnt hear it. But then there are the cars and trucks. do you realy trust blinking lights and bells going off because of a train coming Blowing the Horns?

In my younger years my pipe was wide open . Now my right ear hurts if I try to ride that way after 20 min.
I tried the stock 1 1/4" but was to quit so now I use with a 2". Perfect sound
