Moto GP. This weekend!
12 Aug 2013 22:46 - 12 Aug 2013 22:47
Who is going? I plan on meeting up with Les Holt, I am sure there are more than a few members in this neck of the woods. What say you all??? I am sorry to say that my bike won't be ready by then but I anticipate getting her done before end of month. As soon as I start back to work I will have some more funds to spend on her.
The Mad Duck will be there and...who else?
We can all go for a drink and exchange war stories.

I'll be in town. Oh, wait, I live here.
In a related note, we are having a very casual cookout here in Indy on the west side near Georgetown road and 79th street. All KZR members are welcome to attend. We just chip in and have a ball. Lots of stories going around, meeting new folk, etc. Whether you're local or just visiting, please stop by and say howdy!
Meaty neat-to-eat treats will start coming off the grill around 7:00.
Drop "Seawood Court 46268" into Google, and you're there -- first house on the right.

Can not go to the race, but will be attending the festivities down town Indy. Friday and Saturday night 6pm-12pm. Right on the circle. Thousands of bikes will be there. Awsome time.

What is the concourse ride? Have a link? I would like to hook up this weekend, but I seem to be missing some critical info, such as what, where, when.

The ol lady and I will be attending Sunday along with some (non-kaw) riding friends. Won't have my bike up either but oh well. Not sure when we will get there, depends on what time we're able to pawn off the 2 year old :silly: But we're looking to have a good time!

Well, crud. Les called me while I was at work, and saxjonz's engine broke, so I did not get the chance to meet up with either.
I'll be at the race tomorrow, general admission.

Sax wasn't able to make it and I didn't get to meet up with Koolaid, time flies when your enjoying yourself plus I opted to leave town a little earlier than I had first planed, I had to pull out by 6:30 the next morning to make reservations of the Rolling Concours. I did manage to meet Mad Duck after the ride, too short of meeting, they were getting ready to announce results of the show.
Made Meridian for a little Friday but not Saturday. I wanted to get home and spend my evening with the little woman and celebrate.

Congrats, Les. I looked for your bike at the race, but now I know why I did not see it.

Didn't see this til now which is late Sunday night. I was at IRP the whole week-end and did see a lot of bikes headed to the GP race. Also saw a few 5 sec. TF bike runs, a few PST bikes dip into the 6 sec. zone and all kinds of bikes.
