Yes a thank you is always called for. I refuse to go to some places because at the end of a transaction, they cant say thank you. A place that has something you need is a 'mutually beneficial' thing. They want your money ad you want their product/service. I swear some people think they are doing you a favor selling you something, they lose my future business!

take it to the machine shop, have them hone it, or if you are feeling lucky have them hog it out for larger pistons. B) it looks like maybe there were grooves/ridges from someone just cruising and maybe someone else took it near redline for a while :woohoo: . the rods probably stretched and took those ridges at the top of the cylinders out. :evil:

I don't know if the auto parts store would have a cylinder honing tool that small but I have got a drill.

That might mean something if you were talking about Rods that have "Rod Bolts" in them. The 900/1000/1100 Rods/Crank are "Roller Bearing" press together cranks. Read it as no Rod Bolts.

Which way do they stretch? Longer or shorter? I hope it's shorter as it will save me fitting low compression pistons in my turbo.
