Just finished up a new paint job for my 650, it was my blue and white and the emblems were filled so I painted them on.

Don’t let the professionals con you into think painting a bike is difficult; it actually can be fun and easy to do. However, like most things in life a quality paint job requires 3 things.
1. Quality material
2. Careful preparation
3. Proper execution
Material List:
1 large bottle of Jack Daniels
1 can of red paint (although color may vary)
1 paint brush
Preparation:
Drink approximately half of the Jack Daniels
Open and stir paint
Execution:
Start painting
When the paint can is empty you are done
Throw away paint can and brush
Finish drinking the Jack
Sit back and watch the paint dry.

Not a great picture for detail.... but my guess is a brush didn't touch that paint...
