Friday night I replaced the head cover gasket and cam end caps using Yamabond 4 for the caps.
Today we took her out for about 80 miles before the rain chased us home, we beat it by minutes and no leaks
so far

03 Jul 2012 00:11mark1122 wrote: i took my output sprocket support plate to the machinist to have the cable clutch pusher hole enlarged. this will allow me to mount a hydraulic clutch.
I bought a rc51 master cyl, and clutch master, to put on the kz.
Now I need to order a long 55” hydraulic clutch cable.
Dont u just love new stuff.
your Defff put'n in new stuff,Pictures hydraulic clutch would be sickk-
My Clutch cable- Crazy hard to pull in- THEN
Clutch Spring inside the clutch cover- Connecting and moving the clutch actuator by cable (the spring-covers your Cable- an compressed between the Clutch cover to the actuator- for push back)
The spring was small an tight coil- making it hard to pull my clutch In, braking cables sometimes, yea crazy-
Removed the Clutch cover- unhook the bottom clutch cable- Took the Spring off the actually Clutch cable (running up the cable to the handers an adjustment)(cut off ,an old Cable BTW).
The New Spring, cut down (long enough strong enough- to push back the clutch properly)
replaced Clutch spring- for Smooth Clutch
I can NOW pull my clutch in with 2 fingers soo nice!!
