@Ramtough- I've never ridden behind a woman, but just think, you have to hold on somewhere right? I'm just say'n...

I've had a few ride with me, but none ever got the bug to drive themselves. But to have a woman with the same passion to ride, that's a true keeper. ;)

Yep, the wife got her license this year and rides a Honda Shadow 750RS. She loves it and that fuel injected engine starts on the first try, every time and runs like a dream. That is good with me, I did not have time to work on another bike. She likes the look of my 1978 KZ650, but has no interest in riding a vintage bike. She is happy on her Honda and if Mamma is happy then everyone is happy!

My wife is an avid passenger, but no desire to learn herself. I took her out once and put her on my dirtbike, but it wasn't for her. It was the same with flying, she loves going along for the ride, but no desire to take the controls. I'm just lucky I found a girl that's happy to go along with my various hobbies :woohoo:

Out of curiosity, how hard is it to pass the practical test to get the motorcycle lisence in the US? I took a car lisence when I was living in Massachusetts, and that was a ride around two or three blocks then it was done deal...and strangely enough the theoretical test only had 20 questions of which 75% where regarding the rules of have a learners permit and the Do's and Dont's of that :p

We in Sweden are highly regulated ;) So we have a pretty hard test which means that only 7000 people passed it last year, but then we only are 9 million inhabitans in the whole country :D

In Virginia, where I am, to get my license all I had to do was pass the MSF course. At the end of the class, they gave me a piece of paper to take to the Dept. of Motor Vehicles and they put the endorsement on my license. Easy. They even let me drive around on their bikes for the course!

i knew this gal once...woman like that you think 20 yrs later.....wow...i had no idea what i was up against :P ......she would dance through a pool hall and out drink any guy or out look any girl....and to tell you the truth....i had about as much chance of riding home home with her as anyone at the bar once she was drinking and shooting pool and finding who had a bike and would let her drive it.........

i remember before California had helmet laws and this gal had hair like 80's glam rock chics.....cop glasses most day.....her doing 85 -100 on the freeway on my kz 10000 and my big ass sitting back hands free and hair in the wind ......on the back........folks would do triple takes....

she would pull up to the bar and rev the shit out my 1000 then back in and let me off while i went inside and ordered beers and put money in the juke box....that big titty chick in cop glasses and daisy dukes would park the bike...lock the steering and turn off the gas.....check her hair in the mirror and hike up her daisy dukes......Stephanie....if your out there......you were the only chick i ever knew could ride a bike like a guy.....but girls like that.... although..... they think they might be guys when on a bike.....she.......was 100% not guy...and could ride...

if anything ever happened she would be killed.................. as she had neither the brains nor physical strength and often would dump bikes at tight turns or need a refresher course...miss a deer sighting when asked later....ect....ect...fear brake.....pull out late...change lanes with only some cars aware...........women..... and really most chics never ever can even come close to riding or ride a bike like her...and she was about to get t boned at every crossing....imo...total danger to all....miracle each timew she came back imo.....

my point...she was one i a million as far as the softer sex on a performance bike.... and she was about a 3/10 in being able to avoid a real ragdoll moment....like we do yearly...given those odds and the strength and anger needed to complete a bad traffic day
