True - about the eye sight vs. head direction...
to embed the video:

Wanted to try and meet up with Motorhead down in C-Springs, but I can't find enough time. Did get a couple of hours to run some twisties around Horsetooth Res to enjoy the Fall colors. A little different that doing them on the 750, but still lots of fun.
My "new" right muffler gets a loud buzz over 5k rpm so I might have to take it apart this winter and check it out. Front brake rotors also act like they are a little out of true so they are going on the to-do list too. Still nothing that's keeping me from having fun on the best bike ever made! :woohoo:

A Harley beat your KZ1000? 2 suggestions - 1. Get a professional tuneup; 2. Buy a helmet.

Yea, those twins are making some serious HP these days...it's really surprising. You know they're serious when they have a 2-into-1 pipe too...the drag pipes are so popular because they're so loud...but the 2-into-1 makes the most HP. I wouldn't mind adding an HD to the herd one of these days.

I rode this month, (October). A grey and overcast Saturday, 39 degrees. Stopped at a couple of hardware stores and every time someone came in the store I could hear them say to the owners, "I can't believe theres a motorcycle in front of the store!"
Got home about 5:30pm and pulled into the garage. An hour later it started snowing. We got about seven inches by the next afternoon. Though most of it has now melted off. I expect we'll have a few more days we can get out and ride before christmas.
I have one friend who I get together with and we ride any day we can this time of the year, up here in the Upper Valley of New Hampshire. Mostly because it really pisses off the guys who put their bikes in the basements and barns a month ago. (heheheh)
We have a running joke in that we call ourselves 'The Grafton HellRiders'

I put about 25 or 30 miles on the 750 today. It's the first ride since fixing my ignition and petcock problems, doing a complete rewire, and painting the bike. The bike ran great other than a couple minor electrical issues...but nothing that can't be fixed with a couple resistors (led resistance problems). It was a beautiful day, and a nice brisk 52 degrees. I am currently thawing out as I just got home. LOL!

I ride my Yamaha TT600 (59x) almost everyday. It's still above freezing point here in Sweden, but I guess the snow could come in a couple of weeks. The most negative part of this part of the season is that it's dark untill 07:30 and gets dark again around 16:30 (that's 4:30 pm
) and the front light on the TT is as good as a bicycle lamp. I'm just counting myself lucky if I'll manage to ride untill the snow comes without hitting a wild boar, seeing how common they have become here down south in Sweden.
