Buy the official Kawasaki shop manual (eBay will have it) and find your sidecover on eBay also. In fact, eBay will become your new best friend, eventually. :)

thanks for the link..ebay is my old friend ive restored some of my old dodge trucks and buick cars..but what if i repair and repaint these panels,how can i recrome the plastic vent type thing in these covers?

I like those 400's...hope to add one to my stable at some point.

Check out the "Projects" section and read through some rebuilds for some ideas and tips. Any pics of your bike?

will upload them shortly..but you would laugh on its condition..i am worried about how i will chrome the engine as the chrome work done in my city is not kawasaki standard,only if i could get the correct procedure to chrome..
