It took me a second to find the vote button, it was at the top of the comments column. Anyway, you got my vote.
Very nice bike. Seeing the pic of when you first got the bike, I am envious that you have been able to enjoy the bike that long. I have had several nice bikes over the years but they have always come and gone due to circumstances, family etc. You've done some nice work with it over the years.
Good luck on the contest.

You're correct! I'm in Victoria on Vancouver Island, there aren't any ELR owners near me as far as I know. Don't know where the KZ types meet either. If anyone knows... tell me about it!
Thanks for the vote! Keep em coming!

Ok you got my vote but since this is a third world election I wnat to know what I get. Concrete blocks, a fridge,my electric bill paid, a laptop? What?
Having had some experience with third world elections those are just some of the things used to buy a vote. In the case of the guys here we would probably settle for a gasket set.
One serious question though. Why did you change to a US paint job? I've always liked the Canadian paint job that bike came with.
Thanks for your help guys! It is a point of pride to me that the correct bike prevails! Also, this is like a Third World election... you can vote more than once. Just once a day though!

I really liked the Stardust Silver as well. I had to make one of those 'Sophie's choice' decisions and decided to honour the Eddie Lawson/S-1 heritage of the model. I'm glad I did, I've really grown fond of the 'green'!

Done, and for good reason, it is a good looking bike. But as said earlier, ride it.
