Interesting responses. I'm always amazed by how Canadians & Aussies get it while the Americans in the crowd are always trying to quell the pure joy of "over the top engineering".
Just shows the sad, sad state of our society
Haul out the reasoning bible, ring up the attorney, send a PM to the EPA & plaster the dam thing with warning labels :woohoo:
There doesn't have to be a reason to just do something extreme. There never is logic involved anway...

I like the sound of this, although I think the hardest part will be sourcing the bodywork and making it fit around the bigger motor while still looking original.
An 1100 motor will fit in the 750 frame, but only just.
And we know that the 750 plenum fits on the 1100 throttle bodies with minor mods.
You'll need to consult some experienced turbo guys regarding oiling the turbo with a roller bearing motor, and draining the turbocharger when in the 750 location (the 750 has a built in scavenge pump and the 1100 only makes around 3psi pressure).
All good stuff - keep us informed

I am THINKING- just thinking, however, to find the same year GPZ 1100 and fitting the 750 bodywork to the 1100 frame. I saw one on e-bay once that was similar to that, more radically modded style-wise than I was thinking, but still, basically 750 bodywork on a 1100 frame with 750 call outs
