I wouldn't. But I would buy a retro bike if they redid the KZ1000 and applied all their knowledge to make a oil and air cooled engine with 4 valves per cylinder, fuel injection and 120hp. Those are my conditions. Hopefully somebody from Kawasaki reads this and thinks I'm right. :D

But I just deleted the coil mod and built the engine to 810cc with a Larry C head job! Are you telling me I should have just left it as is? This sucks!

I honestly don't know...but, if my track record with recent bikes is any indication, no. I haven't bought a new bike since 1982  The bike doesn't bother me though...kinda cool...but I was just offered a ultra-low mileage 1986 GSXR1100 in near mint condition...which would you chose...the W800 or the GSXR    ?

I am with Plummen and OMR. I would love to have one and if they make it competitive with Hinckley Bonnevilles, they should do ok in the USA with a bike like that. The W650,the Honda 500TT ,and a Beezer 441 are three bikes I would just love to have and cant find.the W800 would sooth some of that I assume.bj

I am a sales manager at a kaw dealer and have been since 2001 and I can tell you personally that the w650 sold pretty well when they still made them and I still get the occational one in used and they dont last long! I even get people wondering why they stopped production? Not my cup of tea but there is and a$$ for every seat...
