heres an old shot of my 1327 back in 06,been through some changes since then with the new improved motor 2" arm ,wire wheels and z1 bodywork on it now.too many people recognized it before ,couldnt get sportbikes to bite on the bait at stoplights! :woohoo: ill get it repainted in 73 z1 colors this winter and post new pics

Still recovering,some days are better than others.

Very cool info, and bike ! I'm trying a set of O.E. Hardly Sportster shocks and modified my stock arm for a lower mount, which will still give me some travel, i want to play on the street alot so struts are out. What kind of blocks, heads and so forth do you reccamend for a first timer lookin into one of those mondo cc motors ?

Somebody needs to prod you every now and then... 
I used to work for iron foundries - it's some amazing stuff they do. Makes me wish I built something for a living rather than install/repair stuff.

figure out what youre trying to accomplish and ill get you a basic list to build on

Heee Heeee! Then you should know all about strikin while the irons hot ! Indeed, lots o projects at all times. I have a shop goin up here at home starting tuesday, my very own asylum.

yeah my dad was a blacksmith/boilermaker/springmaker for 30 plus years,always says cold iron blacksmiths go to hell! :laugh: im trying to convince the guys in the maintenance crew that heat is a good thing on stuck parts

i like 29smoothbores,but theyre getting hard/expensive to find.29/31 crs seem to be the new smoothbores
