Nice mechanics,not fond of the paint scheme.General question-What is the deal with the rear fender and pipe up in the air like that one and lots of others? Is it functional (please explain) or is it just a styling thingy? All the rest of the bikes lines are horizontal and then u have the ass end up in the air.I just dont quite get it.bj

ok....I'm not really a fan of the hacked bikes but that one looks reeeeaal nice. I thinks it's an excellent example of a marriage between old and new. The upswept tail is just awesome and really sets off the styling. I like the fact that the stripes are similar to original but still a little different, most noticed on the tail.

Just a great bike. Makes me want to build one just like it.

.....not using my Z though. lol

My guess...

The front suspension is shorter so the bike is actually tipped forward which is most noticable in the rear tail and exhaust pipe.

I'm sure most of the fork swaps have this happen as it sounds like most newer forks are shorter than our old right-side-up forks.
