it is like guys who lift wheights with other guys ,,,so other guys will notice how big they're arms are and then they can talk about their arms together.....and with other guys...

That Z1R was really beautiful. The green was a metallic pearl green. Really nicely done.

I also liked that green-frame job too.

More bikes than last year, I think, but not as many KZ's, and not as many 2-strokers.

Looks like the whole "Mods vs Rockers" theme was lost somehow.

Loudhvx, I suggest we get together sometime soon. We need to unify the whole Kz scene here in Chicago. I have seen many beautiful z1 motorcycles in pristine condition. I know my bike wouldn't fit in to that category but nonetheless it will definitely look good.

Yeah, I agree. I wish I had weekends off. Or anytime off lately. There really hasn't even been a good bike-night around here in a few years either.

Motel-bar is trying to get something going, but I still have to check it out.

The M vs R theme was basically just a way to get scooters and motorcycles in at the same show. The two don't mix very often , but at Delilahs, there were an impressive number of both. I think the Jap bike still outnumbered everything else, and Harleys were probably a close second, but there were a decent number of really cool Euro bikes.

Did see one totally electric bike riding around. Silent. It looked like a cross between an enduro and a small street bike.

Yeah, well I figured I would represent the kaw-faction. lol I am not interested in a bunch of scooters or how absence makes the fart go Honda.

Yeah, but if these guys can do it we can do it on our own as well. I already have a Chicago Kawboyz page up on facebook. I don't see that too many people here in KZR Chicago have taken note that Otto started the chicago chapter thread for us to post up rides. I have the next two and a half months off and I plan to ride every day so if I don't happen to post anything I would still reply and ride with those who do.
