its been awhile fellas ive got more pics of the part i finally got for the bike gonna start working on it next week ive got my carbs off to a guy in town that rebuilds trhem so maybe when they come back they will be nice and lean i can re install them and take the bike back to him and he will tune them and vacuum test them for me.

Just an FYI (if you don't already know), those shocks are not the originals, they are a bit shorter than stock. This lowers the rear end, reduces ground/cornering clearance and slows the steering.

i actually did think about that i ordered a set that is set a little wider but i do agree the stocks to sit kind of close to the ribs.

It just sits really low. Some guys do that intentionall, for the low rider look. Just mentioned it in the event that you were unaware of it. Measure the shocks, the stock length is about 13.5", center to center of the mounting bolts. The ones on your bike look like Harley shocks.
