the bike was for sure a turbo bike prior to me owning it. the bike ran in the 8s in texas. this bike is very clean and looks great. i had a bad experience with my local track. it could pass tech in bandimere and topeka but couldnt pass tech up here? so i will have a really cool prostreeter now. i would say jordan scored on this. i paid alot more than that for it.

jordan i had a 1260 motor with an old v&h ported z1 cylinder head in this frame with 40mm lectrons. it ran high 9s with me on it. i weigh 280lbs. another reason for selling was my back does not like riding this bike. very low to the ground. i wish you luck with it.

r u the owner i just won it from in pierre? If so, another coincidence is a few years ago i bought a kz750 4 cylinder motor from you on ebay. This is the motor i built into the 810 powerplant for my kz650 streetfighter. My buddy also bought his 81 kz750 4 cyilinder from you. It was back, with a white wall rear tire, struts, and amsoil sticker on the tank.

yeah that was me. not much i can tell you about that chassis. i ran it for one season and loved it. did not pass out here in pierre, so we went to kansas and denver with it. i wish i still had that 750 i sold your friend. that bike would go rounds and rounds. and never had to work on it. your welcome to call me anytime if you have questions and we should keep in touch. we could trade parts back and forth.

ya that sounds great. Just curious, why didnt it pass tech. That 750 you sold is(well... was) bulletproof im pretty sure. That kid was sooooo hard on that bike, and it never complained or needed to be fixed. Ran it at onida a couple times, wheelies, burnouts, revving it up all the time even when it was cold, you name it he beat the shit out of it. Then he decided he should rebuild a motor since he was goin into a powersports technology program at school. He used a grinder to remove thae gaskets that were stuck to the surfaces(head, cylinders, covers). He got it running, but it spewed oil like a geyser. I have the bottom end currently and am tryin to put it together from other parts i got.

Are you kidding? For the sake of simplicity let's assume that the ONLY thing you got for $305 was the bare frame. If you were going to make it yourself, and you calculated the value of your time at a mere $1.00 per hour you still made out. I'm willing to bet you would spend more than 305 hours designing and re-designing the structure; gathering materials; measuring, jigging, cutting, bending, and welding it together, cleaning it up and painting it. Add to that the cost of the materials and finding purple paint and you can figure you made out like a bandit. Plus, you got more than the bare frame. You done good.
so it was worth $305????
