Anyone ever make or see a homemade bike lift?
09 Oct 2009 11:57
Just wondering what the options are to get these things up off the ground. I've seen the jacks at pep boys, but my exhaust is in the way. Also, I want this thing at table level, not 6 inches off the ground. Thoughts?

At one time, someone posted plans for a homemade bike lift on this site...I remember printing it off...let me check to see if I saved it...if no one jumps in with the plans, I'll mail you a copy.

Hey O great disturbed one:
Not all of us can levitate a five hundred pound bike.
Those of us who can afford it buy someone else's effort, the rest if us depend on our own wood.
Unfortunately, with advancing age natural wood becomes scarcer.

Have you really tried? I mean REALLY tried?

That statement in itself is wrong on so many interpretations.
Unfortunately, with advancing age natural wood becomes scarcer.
Too True!
