The opposite end of my KZs. 1978 KZ650B with 1700 miles. This is the one that sat 10yrs in the shed and we were taking bets on whether it would run. Fired right up.

Here's my old KZ1000MKII I got 26 yrs ago with 80K miles. This is the one that would go all over the country and had zero problems, where my dad's goldwing and Uncle's Venture were constantly broken.:laugh:

Here's the 1980 KZ1000ST I drove up to Michigan to buy back in 2000. Got it off ebay for $2500. Near perfect with 4000 miles.

Re: Your bike

My bike was on the KZ rider for October 2008. It now has 106,000 miles on it, and I continue to use it as my daily commuter across the SF Bay Bridge. (I have two other KZ bikes, which I might add to this thread when they are looking better.)
Petaluma and Truckee, CA -- member since Jan. 23, 2003;
PREVIOUS KZs: 1980 KZ750H with 108,000 miles; 1980 KZ750E with 28,000 miles; and KZ750H street/cafe project, all sold a few years back.
This is what I do for fun, not for work. It is art, with a little engineering thrown in.
