Oh shoot.
You are ok and thats the main thing. Damage does not look to to bad. No twisted forks or beaten up gastank. hope you are back on the road soon.

It's a long time since I have come off a bike and when I did engine guards or crash bars or whatever you call em saved expensive repairs. Also great to see that the gear did it's job. On hot summer days it is often tempting to leave the gear at home.

Sorry to hear that man! Another member here did almost the same exact thing awhile back and he's OK and the KZ is running again. Glad your fine and I know your KZ will be back up and running soon. Been down myself and it sucks! Good luck.... ;)

I resemble that remark. :Mark

Pretty much the same thing. I hit some gravel in a turn. I was up and running in no time. I still have to fix the paint.

At least you fixed it like I did. We were on a So Cal KZ ride and Grant got it on video. I have saved in my e-mail.

Supercharged: Thanks for the offer; it is good to know that there are generous people out there!

Well, thanks to Z1 Enterprises and eBay I got the KZ back on the road. I had to swap the bars to a pair of superbike bars that I had (instead of clubmans) and replaced the front master cylinder due to stress fractures with one from a ZX6-RR that I had laying around. Took the bike to work today and hope to do a bit of a shakedown run tonight. I kept the rearsets with superbike bars and I must it feels real different. We shall see!
