new dirtbike

looked at a 2009 kawasaki 250 enduro today my friend has been bugging me about,i can actually sit on it without using a stepladder to get on like most dirtbikes.i think i need one!

Still recovering,some days are better than others.

Road bikes are fun but i really miss the dirt! The dirt is way more fun but age catches up to you faster too.

last dirtbike i road was a newer kx500 about 4 years ago it scared the hell out of me and i couldnt hardly get on and off ,although it did try to help me off a couple times! :S :laugh: i think this new one is more my speed! :laugh:

I'm gonna get a KLR one of these days. I want to ride the trans america trail. I love off road riding, but have not done it for years.

i road hodakas up till i got my first z1 in late 70s,had a yankee an swm and a few other oddballs but its been a lot of years and i do my best to keep atleast one wheel preferably rear wheel on ground! :laugh:

I'd long since forgotten how fun a 250 lb. bike could be.
My first bike was a 1971 360 Bultaco El Montadero that I bought in 1978.
All these years later I still missed it so I found and had Hugh's Bultaco re build an identical 1970 model recently. I did the cosmetics.
Not too many places to ride it in the dirt here in Sarasota, FL but, since it's an street legal, it makes a fun beach bike.
Funny how this old girl can draw out vintage motocross guys like flies when they hear it.
Maybe you can find vintage bike and show it some love.
