Darn, I just pulled the battery box last weekend arai. I might have a shot of the battery box from the right side in my digital photo documentation at home. I'll look when I get back home this afternoon

Oops, just remembered where I saw some pictures of that area. Patton posted a link to a kzr thread about his beautiful 900 ltd. About the middle of the first page he has some shots that might help.

If the KZ900 standard will help I'll take a few pics tomorrow. I've got one that's totally stock.

This shows under right side cover of 1976 KZ900-B1 LTD. Don't know about any differences from the standard model.
The battery pushes in from the right side into the battery box.
A separate part (which incorporates the lower side cover grommet) attaches with two screws to hold the battery in position (and provide the grommet).
There's another view in the following post.
Good Luck!

Have always carried along the "Harley Helper" about 20' soft nylon rope in freezer bag under right side cover held in place with elastic bungee band. Snuggles inside there with no outward pressure against the cover.
The part earlier referred to as "Ignore" is a plug wire holder clip added there to hook the bungee.
Good Luck!
