Here's an interesting eBay auction for general discussion:

Poor H1

There are so many things to talk about here, but one thing I had to mention is the seller's claim that this will do 9 second quarter miles!

Enjoy!

The 750 H2 must be a 7 or 8 second machine. I had no idea they were so fast (and I owned one):P

That is like a harleysaki or somethin. Poor bike. But hey! To each his own. KawaDavidson? If you were drunk might sound like Harley Davidson. Maybe that is what he was goin for.
Kinda like the mixed breed dogs. Shitzoodoodle or whatever those yuppies have come up with to confuse the breeds.

As hideous as I think this thing is, I do have to give the guy a little credit. From the description it isn't like he started out with a trailer queen and turned it into this. Sounds like it was pretty much usless scrap that he resurected.

With the retarded prices that original triple parts tend to bring there is some logic in doing what he did. Yes, he has absolutely no idea of the original performance level of the bike and he is really out to lunch on what he thinks it is worth. That just means he hasn't done any of his homework and most likely has thrown away his money listing it on ebay.

I've seen some people even here on this site, do things to reasonably nice bikes that made me want to wretch so I think this guy deserves a little slack. JMHO.

do these people even know what the term bobber even means? making a cruiser out of a h1 is one thing but its not a harley, its not from the 50's or 60's and will never be a bobber.

Now if he took a reasonable shaped or nice H1 and did that to it he should be drawn and quartered.... but it sounds like he took a junkyard dog to this condition. I have to admit it is interesting and I don't care what you ride if you're happy I'm happy (as long as I'm not riding behind you in the blue cloud or dodging your chaff).:woohoo:

Any of you that read that description from beginning to end deserves a medal! I saw that long block of text (on a 1280x1024 screen, no less) and just couldn't even start.

Some people just never grasped the concept from composition class that white space is critical for readability.
