Looking at it, I might just remove the mount, and drill holes in the suction cup mount, and bolt it down, using the existing screws and some large washers.

The new mount did not come with the charge adapter so, I noticed that my OEM mount had screws holding it to the mount.

So I just put the adapter on the after market mount, fit perfectly...

I've been running a GPS on my bike(s) for almost 3 years. Works great. No vibration problems, no water issues. I use battery power, so I don't have it connected to the bike's battery. A bit of a PITA but I can always carry spare batteries in my jacket and the unit uses 2 AAs, plus they last about 8 hours for a fully charged set.

GPS is a Magellan Meridian Gold and the mount is a RAM mount. I got the handlebar mount from www.cycoactive.com
