We have booths 4,5,6,7 along the fence. If you can find the Z1enterprises booth then you will see us. We are right along the fence where the golf cart rentals are.

I am going to bring myself and very few parts. I'll bring the "77" KZ1000 and try and sell it. My wife thinks i have too many bikes. I haven't told her i bought a Radian. Gotta pick that up in the morning. I'll have to part it to get the funds for the trip. I have spent a lot of my reserve funds on the Venture i bought.
Kowboyroy is going to be there. He's will be driving down from Canada.
I'll look foward to seeing you all. I have a extra ticket. I'll try and pawn it off to someone that has never been. Roy
Sayyyyy, what is your 77 you're selling? Maybe send me a PM on it. I'm looking for a second one. I like to have bikes in two's. That way I always have a spare ride, no matter the size. Having trouble locating a second Indian though, I bought the one I have in High School. You don't get em for $300 bucks like you did 30 years ago.

I'll be at Mid Ohio. I always like to check in with the Z1 guys. I'll be on the Fence, lot 45 and 46. I usually have a few Kaw things for sale. Usually left overs of my zillions of KV75's and MT1's that I went through years ago.

Last year I sold two F11's, both to the same guy.

I second the Mio Ohio assessement. I'd like to see this Barber deal if it's as nice as Mid Ohio.

If you're into the "Old" bikes, then check out Davenport Iowa over Labor Day weekend. The Chief Blackhawk meet. It's really something. You get to see all the single digits through about the early 1960's bikes. Some really cool stuff.

Mid Ohio, or Davenport or anywhere like it, Bring your Wallet!!!!

July 29th is Mellvis' birthday. Up until the other night I really didn't see us going. Now that I have a (ahem) reason of my own, I'm looking forward to it. It was a nice time as I recall and it was really neat getting to meet a few of you guys and letting my kids experience all the bikes and all that. I'll bet I could get the 28th off (I only work 3 hours on Saturdays) and Mellvis could possibly get the 29th off (maybe, hopefully). We could make it a weekend thing!!

See you guys there.

Oh yeah, how will we all know each other again? I think I remember what some of you all look like, but I can't be too sure. Didn't you all have a big banner or something like that???

Jeff will have his white and blue Z1Enterprises banner. You can't miss us. If you look at my signature you see links to a few of my bikes. I will have the KZ1000 and 73 Triumph out at my spot so I should be easy to find.

I missed last years vintage festival @ Barbers. But the track is definatly better @ Barbers than anything in Ohio. And the museum will make you go into convulsions if you are an old bike guy. The Swap meet is a steady growing affair. Since your coming in from outta town you need to stay @ 29Dreams motorcycle resort. But you need to be getting your reservations real soon. Trusr me Alabama in October is one of the greatest motorcycle trips you can take. Don't ride here in June, July, Aug, and early Sept. unless you enjoy sweating at 70 mph. :woohoo: Lemme bump my thread on Barbers.

Yes, I will be there with my streetfighter and my buddy Butch is going to bring his ST1300 streetfighter up too.
His streetfighter made Motorcyclist this July edition. Take a look at page 22, I even got some ink!

I'll take $1800.00 for the KZ with the "29" Mikunis and Kerker or $1500.00 With "26" Mikunis and a older Kerker. It's a decent Nebraska built bike. It's getting old enough for the value to start going up. I replaced the fork seals and swingarm bearings. It still has points.
A friend of mine rode it on a poker run Saturday. I have a picture some where! Roy

I think I have a place to stay for the weekend. I planned on sleeping in my tent at the booth like every other year. It has been pretty muggy the last few years so sleeping in a tent is not the most comfortable thing in the world. I looked around at some hotels but finding a available room is next to impossible. The few I did find were around $160 per night. I got an idea to check on Craiglist to see if anyone had a room for rent. There is a Mansfield Craigslist and low and behold, room for rent. They are looking for a full time renter so I asked if they would consider renting it for 3 nights. Long story short I got a room with full use of the kitchen, laundry and shower for $25 a night. It will be nice to not sleep and sweat all night.
