I think you've run into the same snag I did, and yes I have a bunch of useless caliper brackets too. What worked for me was a ZX636 caliper bracket. It comes with a bushing thing that needs to be pressed out and then a sleeve made to reduce it to 20mm to fit the axle.

Thanks for the info I'll look for one on ebay.

I dont supose you have the bushing for the left side cush hub? and a cush drive? Just thought I'd ask cause I'd rather give the money to a fellow of the site then to a seller on ebay. Somethimes you never know details till you recieve the parts:pinch:

Nope, sorry. Don't have the parts you need. On your cush drive side, buy ZX9 parts, even though ZX6 parts are more common and look the same, I found there are differences in the bearing and sleeve inside the hub. No big deal, but another sleeve to have made up.

Wow been a long time waiting.
I decided to take another stab at it cause I am off on workers comp and looks to be that way for long time.

Update I bought some items on ebay to get the parts I need to at least have a complete swing assembly. Including the cush drive, axle spacer, and correct brake caliper braket, now I have to wait till they come in the mail to make sure they are right.

Had some spacers made to fit the original KZ bolt through the frame to hold the swing arm.

Right now I am searching for the thread that talks about swingarm angle, shock angle. I seen it here before but cant seem to locate it now.

I've posted on here before about swingarm angle. I think a good number is 12deg droop but I can't remember if that is weighted or topped out. Shock angle and other suspension link geometry should match the donor bike as closely as possibly.

i look at the level where i want it to sit when the suspension is loaded more than anything.measure youre shock when its fully compressed then make yourself an adjustable strut the same length from some all thread and a couple clevis's then decide where your mounts need to be.if you use a long enough piece of rod you can figure your fully compressed/loaded position and you can also turn it back out to figure your unloaded position for clearance issues rather then wrestling with a shock while youre trying to tack brackets on the frame.just my experiance anyway B)
