Rear caliper issue

What’s up guys. Just wondering if anyone knows about the following. I have a 1978 kz1000a2 with another year and model swing arm. I’m unsure of what year and or model the swing arm is off. I included a photo to help with identifying. My issue is im trying to convert the bulky caliper over to the same small calipers I’m running in the front. Much better look in my opinion. So far I can see the diameter of caliper bracket is way off. I’m assuming I would need a custom bushing made here???? Is there something that already exist for this conversion??? Will I also have issues with aligning the caliper to rotor??? I’m hoping someone has already done this and can weigh in with some insight and tips.

Looks like a 81-83 Suzuki GS1100E swingarm.

If you click "insert" your photos will show up in high resolution instead of tiny thumbnails. I wish the forum would fix the software.

I also had someone tell more the rotor size would be different with the smaller caliper. Is this factual? If so...does anyone know the correct rotor size. Is the change in diameter of rotor or in thickness?

Where is this “insert” you speak of. I only see attachments option. Can you take a screen shot of where you referring to possibly?

I measured mine today. Looks roughly 11 1/4”. I’m thinking no good with your new info. 3/8” is a bitch!!!
