My two cents, leave it original.
I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

Hey all.
I have had some time now in the days of my Z.
I have decided to keep the original in the frame. Has simply reached what I see and feel when I look at it and in someone else's Z.
I have come to the conclusion that it is probably stator that does not hold the way.
I have the original Z750 book and it says the stator should leave between 0.48 - 0.78 and mine is 0.10 - 0.15 so I have ordered a new used stator and hope that's the problem.
Were new engine oil and brake oil in the same weave.
fixed the emblems on the tank and the side cups and also on the engineers.

If you click "insert" when uploading photos they will show up full size (not tiny thumbnails).

Good decision. First fix whatever is broken before deciding on the next step.
