Cool, Im interested to see how you tackle the swim arm mods. Some people have used a V-max final drive with good results.
If I knew what I was doing all the time life wouldn't be any fun.

Small update. 900rr shock was to soft. We ended up using a 2001 R6 shock with a much stiffer spring from a Katana. Shock mounts welded into place. Not finished reinforcing yet.

For some reason the album is backwards

Update!
Machining the rim to fit the final drive.

Rim fits the finat drive great! Now I just need to modify the swing arm hopefully this week. And I'll remember to take pictures.

I'll let you know how well it comes out. I have to modify the swing arm as well to fit the 5.5 inch rim.

Update!
New images
imgur.com/a/ov3PO
Modified ZX11 rim in unmodified ZN1300 swing arm. Stock ZN1300 axle used, zx11 rim uses same bearings. Rim is only offset from center by 4mm.
Need to cut into drive shaft housing a little for the rim, and possibly a little on the other side for tire clearance. Then add on some reinforcements to the swing arm.

Very cool, that thing is going to look mean as hell...
You can upload images but the size is limited, resize your pics and you can attach then to your posts, 1280x1024 works.

Currently rebuilding wiring harness. bike has no spark and no power to fuel pump but I got the engine to turn over and compression is good.
