I think I am going to go for the raw metal look, the way the frame shines from the sandblast looks pretty cool, so I'm just going to clear it.

How well does the bike idle and run with the pods?

Just got myself an air compressor, and was playing around with the gas tank.

I think I'm going to fill in the spots from the Kawasaki decal with some weld then finish up the die grinding work an clear coat it like the frame.

i did a cafe a while back and cleared a bunch of raw metal, its tough to keep nice if you get a nick it rusts instantly and leaves a brown circle but its way cool

How often would it rust? I have a couple coats of clear on the frame.

Got the majority of the tank how I like it..just need to do a little more then prolly clearing it tomorrow.

Looking at the side covers, I have no idea what to do with them, especially because one cover looks new and the other looks dull. I'll post pictures of it tomorrow. But what do you guys normally do to the covers?
