Great little engine in those bikes!
For a summer back in '77, had a Red '71 SL350 where pretty much the same engine, loved that bike.
Have been trying to find one out here but not happening as of yet anyways...
Good starter bike for the wife Adam...

haha, haven't done anything. I built a bathroom and an electric brewery and all sorts of other things instead. I recently got the bug to start though so I really hope to have some progress soon.

Good luck getting them to respond to you. I signed up for that forum over a year ago when a was working on a friend's black bomber and have yet to be approved to post on there.

I saw this hilarious post on Facebook a while back. The was a picture of a 10 or 12 year old boy and the caption read something like...My son likes Hondas, why couldn't he just be gay!

Re: Can I do a Honda project on here?

I'm back, again. This time I hope it lasts a bit longer. I was bored the other day and decided to do some more work on the Honda. The bike has 3000 miles on it, so I don't expect much to be worn out, and indeed the rear shoes were like new, bearings are all good. I polished the rear hub up and relaced some new spokes, I think I did it wrong and will have to do it again. I will be ordering new tires and tubes once I get paid next week. I took everything back of the engine off. I only needed heat and impact on one screw! this thing is in great shape. When it gets warmer out I will blast the battery box and tool kit and all other other little bits and bobs and repaint them black. The carbs were gross and took a day with some hardcore chlorinated solvent to free them up. These bikes came with CV carbs ??? I thought that was weird...but the diaphragms are both perfect!
I plan on keeping this bike as stock as possible and am feeling good about being in the garage again, it's been a while!
