...The one thing that surprised the Hell out of me, was cleaning up the wheels. They were kind of gray and scaley. I didn't have any of the miracle products you see advertised for cleaning up things that are black. So I took a bottle of Armor All and douched the wheels down really good, let them sit for about 15 minutes and hit them with a nice clean cloth. Much to my amazement, the Armor All took off all the scale and crap from the wheels and actually turned the damn things black again. I was going to paint the damn things! Not happening now. Sometimes you just need to experiment with what you have and see what happens.

I might just try my wheels that way.
Don't want to coat the tires though.
I have old tires on the newest 650, so nows the time to try.
