How hard would it be to to use this swingarm on my 73 900?
I found a bunch of black threaded pipe from when they replaced the furnace in my apartment,Can I use this for bracing or do I need to use the shiny threaded pipe like they sell at Lowes?

My backbone fuel cell was made from schedule 40
black pipe. And I used a 3/8" ballcock valve for the gas shut off. I wish I had a picture.

Yes I would use it for bracing, no big deal.

Chain looks to be running pretty close to the swingarm. Have you checked to see if it touches anywhere through the full up and down swing of the arm? If so you may consider larger sprockets. Ed

there is a 3/4" gap between the swingarm and the chain. also the bike has no weight in it. there will be a chain guard installed before its all said and done. Larry C. has the same sprockets i do. I dont hear him complaining. Go Larry! The nice thing is he has done most of the guess work. Once i got past the frame mods, it should run a lil smoother. ;)
