Thats some good info as i am just starting to think about the set-up and geometry. Some things i need to consider is how the chain will clear the swingarm, the travel of the shock which will have direct impact on this. I looked at the close-up of your bike and do think they will fit the scheme of my bike (looks wise) . By the way that thing looks sweet up closer! I think I like your front fender better than the one that is going on my bike. I already had seen that seat cover on the guy who built my motor on his KZ. Looks way better than stock. please let me know what that model that cover is from. His is a 83 elr.

as for the shocks, mine are pulled back at the bottom in the pic. Not good. way too stiff. i am going to lay the front forward instead. this will asure a better ride quallity. then i will raise the front end to satisfy my need for a level stance.if thats not enough , i will shorten the shocks.
I have modified the fender even more since that pic as well. i made it a few inches longer at the back, and cut more out of the sides. i tried to get it to look as old school as posible.
The seat is off a zrx.It should be in here somewere.

+1 on the JMC swing arm! I've got the same one and it took 8 months to get it! Worth the wait though! :cheer:

Can't wait to see how yours turns out! :)

That is a nice bike!!!

looking and sounding nice... don't blue the pipes by idling to long ;)

Also like the passenger peg brackets.

Thank you Larry and Mike. I was kinda flipped-out on how fast that pipe blued? Now I just need some $$ together without the wife knowing to get some shocks, sprockets and chain. I also need some new braided brake lines then get the graphics on the plastics done and maybe by spring she will be road ready!!
