The bike as seen in the pic is so light we didn't even use a ramp to unload it from the pickup, he and I just picked it up and sat it on the ground. We wouldn't even attempt that with a 750 twin :D

I traded him the 1000 CSR (in Omaha), APE adjustable cam sprockets, GPz1100 throttle bodies, and the 1100 block with Wiseco 1105 pistons for his extra 750 motors and parts. I figure that if he gets the head ported by LarryCavan, installs some MegaCycle or APE 410 cams, fuel injects it with a MegaSquirt, the thing ought to be able to flip completely over backwards in 1st and 2nd gear with stock (KZ650) gearing. I don't believe there will be any problem with traction, that rear tire is a 180 and really sticky.

I suggested he name the bike "Oh Sh*t!!" :woohoo:

Yep, that's SBJones's former bike, he did the front and rear install, not us. And it's slated for the J motor with a 1105 kit. By the way, that thing felt so light I just had to put it on the scales, 300 lbs the way it sits in the pic :woohoo: I'm guessing near 425 lbs with the J motor and ready to ride.
I have already told my Nephew that he can't ride the KZ650 with the J motor in it until I ride it and verify it's reasonably safe, and he is already figuring out the frame reinforcement issues.

That BobCat will do the job, but the seatbelt is a requirement, otherwise it's likely to pitch you out on your nose. The big ones are a lot easier to operate, but I hauled this one home in the bed of my 1/2 ton pickup, like to see someone else try that with say, a Bobcat 863 or 873 :

I think I'm going to ask $3000 for the BobCat, figure it ought to sell pretty fast at that price.

After I am done with it of course (couple more weeks maybe) :)

By the way fired up my 750 twin and the Nephew's KZ650/GPz750 tonight. The KZ650 has what I believe to be a Kerker with no baffle on it, painful on my ears, got a real "crack" to the exhaust note. It probably won't be as bad when it's outside. Had ignition problems we had to sort out, ended up installing a KZ750 ignition on it.

Post edited by: steell, at: 2007/05/27 23:57

:P hauled my T250 in bed of my old dumptruck once, does that count?:P

Two bikes are out of there now, we just finished the 79 KZ750B tonight, it fired right up and I took it for a test drive, it ran perfect (but it needs a 17 tooth front sprocket) :D

I'm riding it to work in the morning.

We will be back to working on the garage/shop after I get home from work, now that we have some room to move :)

Ya that bike fired right up no struggling what so ever and the gas that it fired up on was at least 9 months old and few months later it would have been trying to start on varnish:laugh: I think it is a really good looking bike. The bike has a fairing from a 750E model that we put on and it looks really good on the twin! When he was coming back from the gas station (about a mile away)I saw him, I didn't here him until quarter of a block away so the bike is pretty quiet compared to mine:laugh:

My 750E and GPzInfested's GSXR suspended KZ650/?? are the EFI candidates. My 750E for sure when I build the next motor for it, and probably his whenever it gets a motor :D
